Glazed ceramic, tape, salt

Partly named for the shape of its crown - like a four-leafed clover, a common symbol of luck - its ribs are thin, sharp, like a cactus' protection against the thirsty mouths of large mammals. Indeed, it thrives is a desert of salt.
This creature seems to have suffered some injury near the base of its trunk. The substance inside - a yellow pith, fibrous and tacky - has seeped out through the crack and sealed the wound from within.
